Most often you'll see me reference golf retail websites for the best deals on golf equipment and clothing. But don't stop there, because golf deals can be found elsewhere, too. Here are a few places to bargain hunt.
Use this link to see what golf deals are available currently, but make sure to specify your location (top of page) so that the website will direct you to locally relevant deals, such as discount tees times near you and local lessons. Below are a couple things currently on offer, but be careful about some of the equipment and accessories and read the customer reviews. (Some Groupon stuff is junk.)
Push cart with accessories and seat - $120. Made in China, from a manufacturer you've probably never heard of, but it gets excellent customer reviews.
This giant online discount retailer has a smattering of golf items on offer, including:
Various golf-themed wall art - prices vary.
The online-apparel giant is where to find gently used golf clothing for reasonable prices, as well as discounted new clothing. If you're not familiar with Poshmark, read our previous article about using it to find discount golf fashion.
Often you can find excellent golf-clothing discounts at department stores like Macy's, Dillard's, and Nordstrom.
Discount clothing stores
You'll sometimes find good deals on golf attire at discount clothing stores like Ross Stores, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and DSW (for golf shoes),
The renowned membership warehouse is famous for its golf deals, including its in-house Kirkland brand of golf clubs, balls, gloves, etc.
Don't discount (pardon the pun) Amazon, which can be a goldmine for golf deals on all sorts of products.
If you live in or near a major city, there's probably an outlet-store mall within driving distance. Some of the outlet stores are likely to carry heavily discounted golf clothing along with their other fare.
Thrift stores and garage sales
If you enjoy the thrill of hunting for something special, it can be fun seeking out golf treasures at thrift stores and garage sales.
While the suggestions above might offer golf-related items, the selection probably will not be as extensive as a golf-specific retailer. If you're looking for specific equipment or clothing, a golf retailer will still be your best bet.
