This course is a bargain! It's a long, open golf course which allows gusts of wind to be a factor in shot-making. Wayward tee shots will lead to side-hill lies and awkward approach shots. Many of the greens are set into hillsides and protected by strategically placed bunkers and mounding.
GolfPass members rate this course highly; 99.7% of reviewers recommend it. Gibson Bay has hosted many state championships and USGA qualifying events over the years.
So, yes, it is still possible to play 18 holes at a high-quality, well-rated golf course for $30 and under! Such courses are a rare breed, but spend some time perusing our Affordable Courses database and you'll find a bunch more that are just a bit more.
